Fords Got It Licked !!!

It was a a bitter freezing night on the 29th December but such things were not on the minds of two men from Sittingbourne they had bigger things to think about. Rob Mcnamara And Kevin Ford spent the afternoon loosening up using their favourite linament (Magners & John Smiths) as These two men would both attempt the Blackjack Challenge but there could be only one winner. First to Step up to the plate was the young Rob Mac as He made his final preparations wrappers were being removed by officials Lucy & Scott Truss who Had to draft in extra help as Rob seemed to have endless room in his mouth (Not Surprising) Rob flew past the old record of 50 with comparative ease almost goading the unwrappers to speed up but it would seem that 55 was his choking point but he manage to stay in control of his gag reflex for another six taking him to a total of 61 thinking he had done enough by raising the bar to a new level, But then in walked Kev Ford last years record holder still smarting from Robs recent success and demanding that 70 blackjacks be made ready. The adjudicators readied 75 in anticipation of spillage and kev started filling every available space in his mouth again the choking point was reached at about 55 but Kev was not going to be beaten by the young upstart and managed to force the full 75 in seizing the record back. In an interview afterwards Ford said he done it for his wife and kids and everyone on green watch. celebrations continued late into the night
